All the essential information for CDA Trainers involved in DECAL Scholars programs

Important Information: DECAL Scholars Program Funding Updates

As you may know, due to a large volume of applicants, DECAL Scholars programs paused on February 17 for budget review.

We are pleased to share: 

  • CDA training scholarships received before February 17, 2025, will be reviewed and eligible applications will be awarded on a first-come-first-served basis.
  • CDA application fee scholarships received before February 17, 2025, will be reviewed and eligible applications will be awarded on a first-come-first-served basis. In addition, we will reopen the CDA application fee scholarship in May and award eligible applicants on a first-come-first-served basis.
  • POWER-ED applications received before February 17, 2025, will be reviewed and eligible applications will be awarded on a first-come-first-served basis. 

All awards are based on funding availability.

DECAL Scholars will not accept new CDA training scholarship applications received after February 17, 2025, until the budget is determined in the new funding cycle.

Your commitment to the early childhood education field is invaluable, and we deeply appreciate the positive impact you have. DECAL remains committed to educators pursuing their CDA.

Welcome, newly state-approved CDA Trainers!

If you’ve been approved through the Georgia Training Approval System (and listed on the GaPDS website), your CDA training students may be able to participate in the DECAL Scholars CDA Training Scholarships program.

To have your information added to our system so students can select you when they apply, please email support@decalscholars.com with the following details:
